P4/5 travelled to the Palace Stables in Armagh to take part in their Apple Week event. We had a great time learning about the lifecycle of the apple, its journey from farm to fork and made some lovely 3D craft apples. We met two characters from a long time ago, Mr Armstrong and Mr Heaney who showed us how to make potato apple bread and apple juice.
